Nurse Supervisor

Description: The Brooklyn Hospital Center is at present recruited Nurse Supervisor right now, this vacancy will be placed in New York. Serves as the senior leadership and responsible for supervising the institution on the evening and night shifts, all day weekends and holidays. Makes rounds on the patient care units and communicates w! ith the staff. Ensures staffing is appropriate for the incoming shift. Reviews staffing and adjusts as necessary based on the census. Responsible for investigating and/or resolving issues and communicating to the appropriate department head for additional follow-up where necessary.
Requirements:
Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing â€" AAS/BSN required, MSN preferred
Current New York State Registered Nurse License, required
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), required
3-5 years of leadership experience required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
