CUSTOMER SERVICE REP

Description: MJHS is presently looking of CUSTOMER SERVICE REP right now, this occupation will be placed in New York. Serves as a liaison between Hospice Home Care Planners, Social Workers, and RN Case Managers and RN on call Triage Nurses. Responds to Social Work/RN Case Managers/patients/customers complaints and grie! vances.Takes accurate messages, problem solve where applicable and forwards to appropriate party as directed. Enters patient referral information into the Allscripts system including patient demographics, diagnosis and plan of care. Sends tasks to Team Assistants for Insurance Verification and to vendor services for DME and HHA . Verifys that all new physicians license number, NPI number is registered, and checks for duplicate physician before entering into Allscripts. Contacts Physicians/Clinics/ Hospitals/Nursing Homes/sub-acute facilities to develop/maintain/follow up on pending and/or new referrals.

Job Requirements
Minimum 6 months call center experience; Intake experience preferred; Microsof! t Word and Excel required; STAT, Omni/MISYS preferred. Strong ! verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
