Rochester General Healthcare System is currently seeking a full-time Physician who is BC/BE in Hospice and Palliative Medicine to join our growing Palliative Care progra! m.
Working within the Division of Palliative Care at Rochester General Hospital, members of the Palliative Care consult service focus on creating well-coordinated integrated treatment plans based on patient wishes in collaboration with primary provider(s).
A motivated, compassionate physician with excellent communication skills and an interest in working with chronically or terminally ill patients and their families regarding goal setting, symptom management and end of life care is highly desired.
Physician will provide oversight of interdisciplinary team meetings,
consultation expertise, collaboration with hospice, education to physicians and other providers and participate
in the optimization of organizational standards of care.
