JOB SUMMARY:
Working with the Director of Infection Control the Infection Control Coordinator assists in planning, de! veloping, organizing and implementing an effective Infection Control Program. This will include, but is not limited to, data input/management, resource management, assist with public reporting of data, acting as a consultant to all clinical areas and departments and performs other duties as deemed necessary. Will have extensive interaction with multiple departments, clinicians and staff. Must be able to drive organizational change through influence and collaboration.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
- Current NYS RN License required.
- 2 years’ experience in Infection control or related field and/or a hospital.
- Must be proficient working with Excel spreadsheets.
