Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - (NP-Primary Care)(locum tenens)
StartDate: A! SAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Certified Nurse Practitioner needed in a New York City facility for an opportunity starting March 18th. The assignment is for 3 x days a week 8hr days, no call. The provider must be well-versed in an primary care setting.
A primary care nurse practitioner (locum tenens) diagnoses and treat patients, order diagnostics, conduct physical exams, interpret x-rays and other tests, and also educate patients on maintaining proper health. In addition to a nursing license, a primary care nurse practitioner holds a certification as a nurse practitioner, and typically a master's degree. A primary care nurse practitioner works with physicians on duty to help evaluate and treat patients.
Required Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner needed - (ASAP) 03/18 - Ongoing. 3 x days a week - Mon, Wed, Fri: -9a-5p or 10a-6p, No call (Client Flexible) Certified, DEA, 25-30ppd. Typical Cases Seen: Sick & Well Visits, Follow up visits, Phys! icals, Diabetes, and Hypertension. Avg patient age: 12 years &! Up. Support Staff: 1x primary care MD, Sub Specialty MD's, 2 x RN's, and Office staff. EMR Charting: Medaz (Will Train).
