Responsibilities Enrolls new members to meet established growth targets for VNSNY CHOICE Managed Long Term Care health plan through marketing program in a variety of venues. Promotes awareness, understanding and visibility of VNSNY CHOICE among potential members, and those with influence over health insurance plan selection. Works under general supervision. Qualifications Licensure: License and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State r! equired.Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing, or the equival! ent required. Masters Degree in Nursing preferred.Experience: Minimum one year nursing experience in an institution, Home Care or Managed Long Term Care Program required. One year experience conducting enrollments preferred. Strong knowledge of federal and state health care regulations related to Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and long term care preferred. Effective oral, written and communication skills required. General managerial experience and negotiation skills preferred. Proficiency in personal computer operations including MS Office applications required. Bilingual skills may be required as determined by operational needs preferred. Knowledge of geriatric population preferred. Effective negotiation skills preferred.
