The Clinical Nurse I is responsible for the direct provision of effective and comprehensive nursing care. This is a 12 hour 8:30PM-8:30AM night shift at NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Medical Center.

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Current New York State License as a Registered Nurse required. At least one year acute care experience is required.
BCLS certification for all nurses who provide direct patient care, excluding the NICU unless they float to general pediatrics required. ACLS certification within 90 days of hire/transfer into the ED, Cardiac Cath Lab, CCU, 5 Garden North (Interventional Cardiology)! and 5 Garden South (Cardiac Telemetry) required. Additional certification may be required depending on unit as per Nursing By-Laws:
