Conducts training, in-services and competency evaluation programs for Home Care paraprofessionals in accordance with applicable Federal, State, City and Local rules and regulations and agency policies and procedures.
Promotes and maintains a training program that is in compliance with all governmental and contractual regulations and meets the agency's established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance and safety standards.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Nursing from a four-year college or university preferred.
Must have current NYS license and registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
Must be able to travel locally by public transportation to make home visits. Valid driver’s license, car registration and insurance as applicable.
