Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - (NP-Primary Care) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed in a Upstate New York Facility for an opportunity starting September. The assignment is for 1 part time evening shift. The provider must be comfortable working in an Occupational Medicine & Primary Care Outpatient setting.
A primary care nurse! practitioner (locum tenens) diagnoses and treat patients, ord! er diagnostics, conduct physical exams, interpret x-rays and other tests, and also educate patients on maintaining proper health. In addition to a nursing license, a primary care nurse practitioner holds a certification as a nurse practitioner, and typically a master's degree. A primary care nurse practitioner works with physicians on duty to help evaluate and treat patients.
Required Qualifications
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Occupational Medicine) needed - 09/09 Certified Midlevel, 100% Adult Med, 100% schedule, 15-20ppd. Typical Cases: General Adult Care, Pre-employment exams, Annual follow ups, Work-Comp injuries. Support Staff: 1 x LPN, Office Staff.
