Bassett Healthcare Network’s Division of Nephrology at Bassett Medical Center seeks a BC/BE Nephrologist to join a team of 4 physicians and 2 nurse practitioner in a thriving 100% nephrology practice. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse population, and includes all aspects of nephrology, including interventional, academic involvement and research participation. The position is 80% outpatient Monday-Friday at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown with the expectation of clinical coverage in our regional sites. Inpatient service is about 1 in 4 weeks at Bassett Medical Center.
A! tertiary care, 180-bed hospital and level II trauma center, B! assett is affiliated with Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons, and is the designated campus of 3rd and 4th year Columbia medical students. Sixty residents train in Bassett’s Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Transitional Year residency programs. We offer a full range of medical and surgical subspecialty services. This Central New York facility draws patients from an eight-county region.
