Full-Time Primary Care Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) wanted for privately-owned practice in Newburgh, New York. The practice is part of a larger multispecialty group which provides Primary Care, Internal Medicine, and Specialty services for patients in the Middletown and Newburgh area. New graduates are encouraged to apply and the position is available immediately.
The PA or APRN will work a total of ! 36-38 hours per week (Monday through Friday). Three (3) shifts! will be 8 hours per day, one shift per week will require the PA or APRN to work between 8am-7pm. Friday shifts will only require the provider to work between 9am-1pm. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner should be open to the possibility of 1-2 Saturday morning shifts which may be phased in over the next year. No call and no holidays required.
The PA or APRN will work alongside a full medical staff at the practice outpatient office seeing both new and existing Primary Care patients, referring patients to specialists, and refilling prescriptions as needed and as directed by the collaborating/supervising Physician.
