Liberty Solutions has an established client in the south-central US in need of an experienced Clinical Content Specialist - Respiratory Therapist with Charges preferr! ed on a contract basis. This consultant will be involved in implementation and golives from start to finish. This contract is 3-6 months with possible extension. Travel is 90%.

The Clinical Content Specialist provides process and system expertise to promote adoption of electronic clinical documentation that supports evidence based and client best practice through the design and implementation of standardized order sets and clinical documentation. The Clinical Content Specialist role encompasses clinical documentation analysis, design, standardization, gap analysis, and content development that support workflow processes and information needs. This role may include the performance of current state assessments, meeting planning, and facilitation of meetings to define documentation standards to be implemented across the organization. The Clinical Content Specialist will work to advance the standards for electronic health records; facilitate collaboration with ancillar! y departments, medication integration, and physician and nursi! ng standards teams; plan and facilitate Joint Application Design Sessions; assist in the development of test scripts and testing of the Build; assist in the deployment of communication plans, and assist in the development and execution of training and education plans. The Clinical Content Specialist will provide learning and adoption support during implementation of electronic health records to various clinical roles.

(li)Bachelor's degree in nursing or related healthcare field or relevant clinical documentation experience desired. (/li)
(li)Cerner experience required.(/li)
(li)Respiratory Therapist with knowledge of charges preferred(/li)
(li)Ability to create and edit technical design documents.(/li)
(li)CPOE experience preferred.(/li)
(li)Team Lead role for design, development, implementation of CPOE, Care plans, INet, Clinical Documentation projects(/li)
(li)Ability to relate comfortably with clinicians.(/li)
(li)Effective l! eadership skills and strong customer service orientation.(/li)
(li)Proven ability to communicate and understand needs of clinicians.(/li)
(li)Advanced analytical skills to resolve simple to complex problems.(/li)
(li)Superior organizational, facilitation, and people management skills.(/li)
(li)Ability to mesh well with the existing management team by being a good listener, a team builder and articulate advocate of the applied clinical Informatics vision.(/li)
