The Clinical Leader is a Nursing Leader, who serves as a resource for problem solving, provides clinical expertise, facilitates staff mentoring and! coaching, facilitates resident flow.
Duties and Responsibilities
Round on staff and physicians.
Using unit census, round on all residents daily, using key words at times to identify issues.
Ask residents if there is staff that should be recognized.
Resolve any issue or concerns at the time of the rounding.
Follow up any concerns at the time of the rounding.
Follow up any concerns with the Nurse Manager.
Complete rounding log and turn in to Nurse Manager.
Identify and have knowledge of all high risk residents, ensure plan of care is current.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors of Nursing degree preferred.
2 years of Registered Nurse experience.
For Long Term Care: experience with frail, elderly/geriatric population preferred.
