Hi! My husband and I have a wonderfully smart, fun and kind 3-year-old son who needs a new nanny. We are looking for an energetic, creative and well organized person to keep him intellectually stimulated and fully on schedule for ! his many activities, classes and play dates. He is a very affectionate and caring boy who appreciates having a kind and thoughtful caregiver. During the school year he attends school five days a week in the morning and has classes after his nap 4 days a week. In the summer he attends camp or classes 3-5 days a week. We live in TriBeCa near his school and most of his activities.
We are expecting our second son to be born in November. We will have a baby nurse for 4 months, but after that the nanny we hire would be responsible for both children. We need to hire someone who has experience with newborns and babies and who has excellent multitasking skills. Experience with a multiple child family would be appreciated.
We are looking for someone to work 30-40 hours a week. A few days a week we would need the nanny to work until 8 p.m., but other days it would only be until the afternoon. Also, we would like someone who can work one day of the weekend and maybe p! ast 8 once a week. But if nights and weekends are not possible! , we can hire a separate person for just weekends and nights.
In addition to child care, we will need the nanny to do the children's laundry, dishes and prepare simple kids meals. We also would like her to help out around the house with things like unloading the dishwasher, straightening up the playroom and kids' rooms. We have a friendly cat and dog, so we need a nanny who loves animals and is able to take the dog on walks occasionally. Please note that we have a housekeeper who comes twice a week and a dog walker. The nanny would be asked to only do light help around the house.
