Healing Arts Initiative (HAI) exists to remove barriers to arts and culture. Initially founded in 1968 t! o provide live performance to warehoused individuals in psychiatric facilities, HAI has since evolved into a multifaceted arts agency dedicated to enriching the lives of all culturally underserved New Yorkers. Nationally recognized for its work in arts and healthcare, HAI reaches about 350,000 people annually through services specially designed to encourage and inspire those with challenging life situations including frail elderly, those with mental or physical disabilities, the homeless, those in hospice as well as at risk youth.
Located in Long Island City, Queens, HAI has a full-time staff of 20 and part-time staff of 12. HAI services are primarily offered on site in mental health facilities, hospital settings, hospice centers, nursing and rehab facilities as well as in schools. HAI also offers opportunities for underserved New Yorkers to enjoy cultural events in the community including the HAI art gallery and studio located at HAI's homebase.

Description:
HAI is looking for an individual who can understand how HAI's mission of providing arts access to our city's underserved can be enriched and supported by applying current market principles and trend analysis, coupled with the determination and passion to break through dated nonprofit culture and ideology.

Responsibilities:
Managing social enterprise programs
Facilitate communication ! and work goals among program stakeholders
Develop action plans
Coordinate promotion, sales, and community engagement
Develop social media plans to publicize programs
Support evaluation efforts
Monitor program budget, expenses, and participate in financial planning
Investigate additional revenue streams
Develop reporting and invoicing systems
Participate in community initiatives that support social enterprise goals
Provide expertise and support to colleagues and member agencies
Participate in HAI programs and collaborative initiatives
Attend professional development opportunities
Become a strong and valued member of the on-site team and the HAI family
