JOB SUMMARY: The Staffing Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of scheduling, staffing and payroll for all members of the nursing department.
In collaboration with the Director of Nursing Services, the Nursing Staffing Coordinator oversees the function of the staffing personnel.
SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Ability to abstract information. Effective written and verbal communication skills Organizational skills Proficient in the use of computer applications Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and tasks Familiarity with electronic staffing software Excellent customer service skills
Must be able to oversee the function of staffing and payroll department. Knowledge of scheduling and staffing. Ability to utilize electronic payroll system.
Management of benefit time, overtime. Ability to progressively discipline staff in regard to time and attendance issue
Skills/Requirements
JOB QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors in business field or equivalent experience Minimum two years managerial experience Advanced computer proficiencies. Previous experience in staffing fo! r large facilities, preferably in long term or hospital settin! g.
