Nurse Manager â€" Ambulatory Care Services Unit.
Due to a retirement, this exciting leadership position as a Nurse Manager in our Ambulatory Care Services Unit. This position will oversee the clinical operations for a variety of ambulatory specialty services including orthopaedics, rheumatology and podiatry. To qualify yo! u must have a Masters in Nursing, current New York State RN li! cense, current BLS and ACLS certifications with the American Heart Association. In addition, candidates must have five years of leadership experience, preferably in an ambulatory setting. The ability to work under pressure in a very dynamic environment and proven communication and interpersonal skills required.
The successful candidate will provide responsibility for personnel and unit management that will effectively guide the quality and coordination of patient care, performance of personnel, and the organization of the unit. Works collaboratively with the nursing, medical and administrative staff to ensure quality practice, coordination of patient care and unit operations.
