More complete informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. Experienced RN to work in the Women's Health department of NYU Student Health Service. The Women's Health RN is responsible to triage clinic patients in person and by telephone, perform HIV test! ing , administer medications and vaccinations, provide health education, contraception and pregnancy counseling, assist with provider visits as needed and facilitate clinic workflow. This is a full time, 5 days/week position.
Provide direct, individual patient care and education to a diverse University community in accordance with established standards and medical ethics.
Qualifications/Required Education:
New York State RN license and
Preferred Education:
BSN
Required Experience:
2 years experience as a registered nurse.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in an ambulatory environment. Emergency room experience (urgent care only); OB/GYN experience (women?s health services only).
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):
CPR and ACLS certification
