Description: MVP Health Care is looking of Clinical Account Manager (Part-Time) -Schenectady or Rochester right now, this occupation will be placed in New York. Primary responsibility is to work on a consultative basis with MVP Service Corp account in strategizing population h! ealth management (PHM) initiatives. The Clinical Account Manager uses a number of different resources, primarily employer group specific data, to support member retention/recruitment, to provide targeted medical trend and employee productivity focused programs. The Clinical Account Manager is also responsible for leading the Wellness Committee and overseeing the planning, communication, implementation and evaluation of the MVP employee PHM initiatives. Works closely with the Manager of Compensation & Benefits at MVP Health Care to create strategic plans for Wellness Programs.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education: Bachelor s degree required, preferably in a health/fitness related field. Registered nurse, registered dietitian, professional nutritionist, exercise physiologist, health educator, or other health care designation preferred. Master s degree preferred.
Minimum Experience: Two years experience in health education/wellness prog! ram development, implementation and evaluation including aggre! gate data analysis and review. A minimum of two years experience in designing and implementing health education seminars and wellness programming, preferably in the workplace setting. Managed Care experience desirable.

" Valid drivers license and access to vehicle. Periodic travel within MVP service area to various company locations.
" MS Office computer skills including MS Word and Excel.
" Superior interpersonal skills. Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write correspondence, analyses, and reports for customer.
" Ability to work independently and with autonomy. Self-directed and motivated. Able to work within matrixed reporting environment. Must possess accountability and urgency in completing assignments.
" Demonstrates commitment to serving the customer effectively. Demonstrates reliability and flexibility to meet the needs of the team.
" Demonstrates ability t! o maintain composure and professional demeanor in stressful situations when dealing with all levels of customers, members, vendors, and staff.
" Strong problem-solving, analytic and organizational skills. Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment in all interactions. Strong presentation skills & ability to conduct employer presentations & question-&-answer sessions.
" Working knowledge of behavioral change theory and application principles
" Ability to lead and/or demonstrating physical activity programs. Ability to carry equipment and materials.
" Hours may vary occasionally to accommodate member activities in the evening and occasional weekends
Preferred Skills:
" Experience with databases and information tracking programs preferred.
