13 shifts per month (7 day coverage)

We are currently seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our General/ Vascular Surgery team. As a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with us, you will work alongside some of the most accomplished physicians in the world, collaborating to make a true impact on the advancement of medicine and patient care. To ensure your continued growth, we offer exceptional development opportunities across a broad range of specialty areas, and maintain a department of Advanced Practice to advocate for our PAs/ NPs throughout our medical center. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing post-surgical patients of general surgery, vascular surgery, and some bariatric surgery; plus all related job duties as assigned. No OR first assisting is expected in this position. The qualified PA candidate we seek will possess a Bachelors of Science in Physician Assistant Studies as well as a current NY State Physician Assistant licensure, & NCCPA certification. The qualified NP candidate we seek will possess a Masters Degree in Nursing, NY State Nurse Practitioner licensure with prescriptive privileges. Prior experience working with post-surgery patients is highly preferred. The successful candidate must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
