Right now, we are seeking an Associate Clinical Director of Nursing to join the Montefiore Einstein Center for Heart and Vascular Care. At this nationally renowned heart center, we have a proud tradition of clinical excellence and research leadership in adult and pediatric cardiology and cardiovascular surgery. We remain at the forefront in using ventricular assist devices for the treatment of heart failure. Currently, we are implementing a TAVR program that is unique to the field. And we continue to pioneer advancements in heart rhythm disorder care, interventional and minimally invasive cardiac procedures, and more. Together, we work to realize our vision of a day when cardiovascular disease is no longer the leading cause of illness and shortened life. As part of our growing cardiology team, you will be responsible for helping direct cardiology and interventional nursing services provided at the heart center. This involves building effective nursing teams, coordinating work schedules, leading a diverse nursing staff, evaluating patient care outcomes and supporting performance improvement initiatives. You will also be expected to perform various administrative functions, including overseeing purchasing activities, controlling expenditures and managing budgets.
Required Skills:
To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred), current NYS RN licensure, 7 years of clinical experience (including 2 years in cardiology and interventional services), and 3-5 years of management experience.
