Job Summary:
Ensure the accuracy of inventory and the highest standard for quality by the development and execution of procedures that define the industry standard for material management integrity. Seek to reduce the costs associated with producing, warehousing, and shipping inventory by promoting increased efficiency and optimal resources utilization.

Candidate must be able to work Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Job Description:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support Manufacturing processes through the accurate and timely execution of lower level material consumption. Perform consumption audits and reconcile variances. Ensure production order documentation is complete, accurate, and processed per business requirements.
  • Generate and distribute material reports that communicate inventory activity and performance (e.g. production metrics, condition of material, inventory accuracy, financial results, etc.). Analyze report data and support continuous process improvement through recommendations that increase process efficiency, transaction accuracy, and operational cost reductions.
  • Perform cycle counts within Distribution, Production, and Manufacturing. Complete inventory discrepancy reconciliations and perform material balance adjustments.
  • Perform enterprise system inventory adjustments (e.g. status changes, scrap, conversions, transfers, third party warehouse and co-manufacturer transactions, etc.).
  • Assist in the management of bulk almond receipts by performing delivery transactions, auditing all receiving documentation, and ensuring raw almond storage location accuracy.
  • Support Manufacturing and Distribution through the management of supplies and tooling. Comply with requirements for their distribution, usage tracking, and ordering.
  • Support Quality processes by ensuring that only cleared material is consumed, produced, and shipped. Partner with the Quality Department to address material non-conformance issues.
  • Maintain and adhere to Blue Diamond line certifications, HACCP processes/audits, GMP’s, and safety practices.
  • Support process compliance by training others on Department procedures. Ensure material processing standards compliance. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor.
POSITION DIMENSIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level and Focus:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Years and Type of Related Experience Required:
Inventory experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Must have a good understanding of inventory procedures and be proficient with using SAP for various MFG & Warehousing transactions. Must have a demonstrated proficiency in the use of a personal computer and related software (Microsoft). Must be able to demonstrate basic math skills. Must be able to work independently and with limited instructions. Able to read and follow written and verbal guidelines/procedures. Must have good verbal communication skills.
Interpersonal and Communication:
Works under general supervision. Work consists of routine tasks requiring some simple decision-making. May direct small groups of employees to perform routine tasks. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by supervisor.
Technical and Analytical:
Position requires the ability to define problems and apply predetermined solutions that have been defined by BDG procedures. SAP experience highly preferred.
Administration and Operations:
Overtime as necessary is a requirement to the performance of this position. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Work Environment:
Works in a variety of environments and may be exposed to heat, cold, high humidity, dust and noise. Will be required to work around machinery and moving vehicles.
