We are professional, customer-centric and our goal is to produce two bi-weekly community newspapers in Bluffton and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Our company is seeking an experienced Graphic Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience managing time well and a professional attitude. The Graphic Artist will be responsible for creating newspaper advertisments, so the successful applicant must be detail-oriented, able to work well under pressure, and capable of multitasking in a busy environment.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and meet customer expectations.
- Comprehend and follow design briefs from company and individual clients.
- Execute projects using CS - InDesign
- Know current and new technologies for designing graphics.
- Be able to meet deadlines.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Choose your own hours
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Experience:
- Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred)
- Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)
- Graphic design: 3 years (Required)
