General Duties & Responsibilities
- Required to work as part of the production team to manufacture and pack baked biscuits to fulfil production targets on a daily & weekly basis.
- All employees are expected to co-operate fully with all provisions taken by the company for ensuring Health and Safety, and Welfare of co-employees.
- Obtaining raw materials & packaging from staging areas.
- Involvement in the weighing and mixing of raw materials.
- Packing or repacking of baked biscuits into relevant packaging materials.
- Placing finished goods on pallet as per palletising document, ensuring that all pallets are built, labelled and wrapped correctly.
- Operate specific machinery in the manufacture and packaging of products.
- Good manufacturing practice (GMP) must be adhered to in all work areas at all times.
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork is complete at the end of shift with emphasis on attention to detail.
- Any other ad hoc duties necessary to ensure the smooth running of production plant and achieve production targets.
Compliance
- All work carried out must be done to traceability, BRC, sustainability, customer & East Coast Bakehouse standards.
- Fully comply with all East Coast Bakehouse food safety, hygiene, health & safety & HACCP policies
