Elderwood Administrative Services is currently seeking a Regional Nurse (RN) Educator to join our growing professional team!
The Regional RN Educator is responsible for the implementation of regulatory training programs. Facilitates train the trainer sessions and oversees centralized delivery. Leads various task forces for program development. Assists in development and delivery of centralized clinical training programs based on facility needs.
Qualifications:
- Credentials of a Registered Professional Nurse with a current New York State license required.
- Minimum of 1 year Home Health Care experience required.
- Minimum of 5 year’s nursing experience, and at least one year of experience in geriatric nursing required; assisted living setting preferred.
- Baccalaureate degree preferred.
- Adult teaching experience essential.
- Knowledge and basic level skills in Microsoft Office products required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of long term care industry regulations, and organization policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to communicate well in writing and speaking required.
- Personal qualities of enthusiasm, reliability and patience required.
- Compassionate attitude and interest in the needs of residents and quality assurance required.
