Graduate from accredited School of Licensed Practical Nursing
Active New York State LPN license
Prior experience in a busy medical office is preferred
IV Certified preferred
Ability to perform all job duties with no accommodations, including lift up to 50 pounds, repeatedly bend and twist, and stand for 10-12 hours daily
Responsibilities
Assist the practitioner with examinations, procedures, and! other duties, including assessment and triage of patients
Administer medications
Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory, as well as assist in management of the results
Efficiently manage patient flow through the center
Prepare exam rooms, including maintenance, sterilization of equipment, and stocking of supplies
Conduct patient call-backs and scheduling
Carry out patient education
Attend required staff training and meetings
