SUNY Orange was founded in 1950 as the first county-sponsored community college in the State University of New York system.

Job Description:
Description of Position:
The Coordinator of Resource Development will coordinate the Annual Fund, be responsible for the donor management and prospect research of poten! tial donors including the handling of the foundation marketing! and public relation initiatives. This position will also provide support to the AVP for Resource Development and will be responsible for the data management of the Raiserâs Edge data base. The ability to interact with donors, and prospective donors as well as college leadership is vital to this position.

Position is a 12 month Staff & Chair, Grade II position

Salary Range for this position is $39,000 - $47,000 per annum

Education Required:
Bachelorâs degree OR Associates degree with three years of appropriate experience.
Experience Required:
Hands on experience with databases via Access or Excel; experience in web research.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics
:
Bachelorâs degree in Journalism, English, Marketing or Communications
Hands-on experience with the Raisers Edge for Windows Database
Experience with proposal writing and annual fund drives
Experience with making face-to-face presentations
Experi! ence in editing web pages
Ability to effectively establish and! maintain working relationship with supervising personnel, co-workers, all college employees and the public.
Excellent written communications skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects.
Must be able to travel between the collegeâs two campuses and other sites.
