Our clinical psychiatrists are passionate about integrated care delivery, enjoy working on teams, embrace technological practice support, believe in evidence-based practice, and ally with patients and ! primary care providers to produce the best possible clinical outcomes. Our clinical psychiatrists participate in multi-disciplinary teams of behavioral health professionals to manage a population of patients with behavioral health conditions in an embedded manner at primary care clinics. Our clinical psychiatrists help develop and implement patient-centered care processes and train and supervise clinical talent including team nurses, social workers, and counselors. They are comfortable working in on-site and telemedicine environments.
Approximately 60% of time is devoted to direct patient care and 40% to team meetings and to care coordinator supervision. Responsibilities • Provide evidence-based behavioral care to patients • Provide ongoing training and development of the clinical team including: responding to clinical needs, attending team rounds to give guidance on patient care, providing evaluations and mentorship of clinical and operational work • Provide! team care and psychiatric treatment in both primary care- bas! ed and virtual environments. • Utilize performance data to help the clinical team in improving outcomes • Assure smooth operations and communication between the clinical team, the primary care staff, and the support staff at headquarters • Impart a sense of therapeutic alliance across the organization and between the organization and its patients and primary care partners • Meet regularly with the medical director for ongoing direction, priorities and performance feedback • Work with leadership team to build a practice of talented behavioral health professionals • Build and maintain relationships with partnering primary care clinics Qualifications and Experience • Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution • Psychiatry residency training completion from an accredited training program • Board certified in general psychiatry • Subspecialty certification preferred (including Psychosomatic Medicine, Geriatric Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatr! y, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry) • Meets state licensure and health plan credentialing requirements • Extensive outpatient psychiatric clinical experience • Experience in quality and cost outcome improvement initiatives • Experience working with primary care providers and familiarity with the primary care culture • Track record of improving patient care and achieving high levels of patient and referring provider satisfaction • Experience with a positive working relationship with clinical and administrative arms of health care insurers We offer a competitive package that includes: • Base salary and bonus • Health, dental, and retirement benefits • Paid holidays and paid time off • Company paid licensure and certifications • Opportunities for career advancement About Tamber Tamber is an integrated behavioral health group practice embedded in primary care clinics.
