Registered Nurse
Location: Malta New York
Description: Saratoga Hospital is in need of Registered Nurse right now, this position will be placed in New York. More details about this position opportunity please read the description below. Organizes and administers individualized, professional patient care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care.
Provides nursing care as directed by the medical staff, and in accor! dance with the objectives, policies and procedures of the hospital and the state Nurse Practice Act.
Maintains standards of nursing care as established.
Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning.
Participates in Quality Improvement activities.
Maintains an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age specific needs and provides age specific treatment and care.
Assumes Resources Nurse responsibilities as need.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, and currently licensed to practice in New York State. BSN preferred.
AAS prepared must complete BSN within 4 years of date of hire. Minimum one year experience required.
