The Clinical Nu! rse I is responsible for the direct provision of effective and! comprehensive nursing care. This is a 12 hour night shift at NewYork-Presbyterian / Allen Hospital.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Current New York State License as a Registered Nurse required.
BCLS certification for all nurses who provide direct patient care, excluding the NICU unless they float to general pediatrics required. ACLS certification within 90 days of hire/transfer into the ED, Cardiac Cath Lab, CCU, 5 Garden North (Interventional Cardiology) and 5 Garden South (Cardiac Telemetry) required. Additional certification may be required depending on unit as per Nursing By-Laws:
