REPORTS TO: Chief Program Officer

HOURS: Flex! ible : 35 hours/week

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Grant Manager assists the Chief Program officer in managing grant related projects and coordinating selected revenue streams related to grant management, in collaboration with the NLN Foundation for Nursing Education staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide administrative support to the Chief Program Officer

Serve as grant meeting manager by coordinating aspects of grants activities:

Confirm hotel arrangements as the selected site

Arrange on-site food functions as needed

Arrange on-site audio-visual materials as needed

Monitor expenses and submit requisitions for payment as needed

Prepare and submit financial data reports to fulfill grant requirements

Maintain member profile data related to participation in grant functions.

Assist grant evaluation consultant to maintain data records, including data retrieval, data analy! sis and dissemination of data to grant funders.

Maint! ain on-going records related to grant revenues and expenses (e.g. amount of funding available, number of proposals submitted, grants awarded, submission of grant final reports, etc).

Assist with other tasks or projects, including those that relate to other Business Units, as assigned by the Chief Program Officer.

Please be advised that 30% of this position involves travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Baccalaureate degree. Ability to work independently is essential. Competence or willingness to become competent in software, databases, and spreadsheets. Excellent planning and organizational skills, particularly in relation to attention to accuracy and detail. Proficiency with MS Office, including MS Excel, required. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to work and communicate effectively with staff colleagues. Ability to communicate, verbally, in writing, and in an effective manner with the public. Ability to plan and organize ! work, provide direction to others as appropriate, and to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
