Join the leaders in health! care as a Clinical Nurse on our Cardiac Telemetry Medical Surgical Unit. The Clinical Nurse provides direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in compliance with recognized nursing care standards. In addition, t he clinical nurse directs nursing care by utilizing the nursing process and critical thinking skills while demonstrating a commitment for compassionate and quality patient care. Lastly, the Clinical Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for assigning and delegating patient care appropriately to other members of the Interdisciplinary Health Care Team.
To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree in Nursing with current NYS RN License and a current BLS certification with the American Heart Association. New Graduates are welcome with a minimum 3.4 cumulative GPA . The position requires excellent communication, interpersonal and team building skills with a strong focus on clinical and patient satisfaction. The successful candidate will be exp! ected to perform effectively in stressful situations, use effective communication skills and have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions while acting as a leader in healthcare.
