Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Hawthorne, NY Location
We currently seek a part-time Nurse Practitioner to provide direct client care for the youth population with disabilities and coordinate medical care and referrals for these clients. Responsibilities include the primary care of residents; admission and discharge physical exams; arrange and coordinate subspecialty care including eye and dental exams; diagnoses and manage acute and chronic illnesses of clients; liaison with psychiatrist and provide appropriate medical follow-up; maintain appropriate client and staff records in accordance with JBFCS policies; partner with nursing staff on client care issues; work as a member of an inter-disciplinary team and attend all required meetings; train staff in regards to heal! th related issues and job functions; insure quality care is pr! ovided to clients with disabilities at responsible sites.
Requirements: Must be a licensed pediatric adolescent NP.
