Registered Nurse Home Care Infusion Therapy â€" Infusion (McAuley Seton Home Care): Employee must be knowledgeable in professional nurs! ing principles and practices related to infusion therapy. Demonstrates appropriate judgment and assessment skills to be able to make independent clinical decisions in formulating and carrying out home health plan of care. Seeks guidance from Clinical Supervisor when needed. Demonstrates ability to be depended upon as scheduled for work meetings, and/or in-services as requested.
REPORTS TO:
- Nurse Manager Infusion Therapy
- Home Health Aides
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, college or university, BSN preferred
- Licensure and current registration as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York
- Current BLS certification
- CRNI within five (5) years preferred
- One (1) years experience performing veni-puncture
- One (1) experience with central catheters and PICC li! nes
- PICC certification a plus but not required
- Most possess a valid driver’s license and have a car available for work use
- Able to lift, push, and pull light to moderate loads
- Follow MSHC dress code and wear photo identification when serving McAuley Seton patients
- May be exposed to unsanitary conditions in some home settings
- May be exposed to high crime areas within the community, within the county serviced by the agency
